allapopp’s solo exhibition When Body Is Not Enough opened June 27 at SOMA Art Berlin with the new performance How To Bury Your Digital Twin. [scroll down for performance & exhibition photos / press the link for high res].
In a spatial installation setting, allapopp presents a philosophical and feminist exploration of self-digitalization.
Spanning over a decade of experimentation—from early voice and body cloning in 2014 to the creation of fully interactive digital copy in 2024—this exhibition traces the evolving relationship with artists’s own multiple bodies in the conversation of digital technologies and feminist discourse.
Presented is a selection of individual and collaborative works spanning video, computer game, AR, installation, sound, performance, and print.
On view till July 26, 2-6PM.
SOMA Art Berlin, Eylauerstr 9, 10965 Berlin.
